Generate
config.xml must contains a list of icons and splashscreens paths:

Fortunately for us we do not have to add this manually. After installation you will find icon.png and splash.png under the resources folder:
Modify those files with your own icon and splashscreen and make sure to keep the same size.
When you are ready, run npm run ionic:resources. This command should generate all the assets necessary in different sizes and modify config.xml accordingly:
